Gorgeous old building, interior is spotless & quaint. Staff was pleasant, accommodating. Our room was clean and beautifully furnished, bed was firm and comfortable. My only complaint is that the bathroom is chilly and there's only half of a shower door. Overall a great experience, thank you Exeter Inn staff!!

Lovely and charming old hotel. Great restaurant with lively atmosphere. I personally hate cookie cutter chain, sanitized hotels so this was perfect - it's right in the center of Exeter - not in some industrial park on the side of a highway. Everyone who worked there was very nice. Updated bathrooms.

The Exeter Inn was a lovely experience. I was always greeted warmly no matter the time of day. My room was small, but clean and cozy. The tea and cookies that are put out at 4:00 every day were so lovely to arrive to after a long day! The breakfast choices were more than ample. My only comment is that the downstairs area smells a bit like a greasy kitchen. Overall, I had a great time and would be very happy to return! Thank you again for a very nice stay.

I've been to the Exeter Inn a couple times and always found the staff exceptionally warm, welcoming, and accommodating. They made my stay at the Exeter comfortable. It's also very quiet -- something a greatly appreciated.

We have come to love this place. We prefer boutique hotels in general, and especially love those that are historic and located in walkable areas. We spent Christmas here and visited again in late February and early March. Staff are friendly, rooms are clean and interesting, the bar and restuarant are awesome. We wish we could live there!

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel and always look forward to coming back. One of the things that makes it so special is the warm, welcoming atmosphere. Especially seeing the familiar face of Julie and Laurie at the front desk who always greet us with kindness and professionalism. The restaurant and bar staff truly elevate the experience. Sue, Sean, and Daniel are exceptional. Friendly, attentive, and they go above and beyond to make every visit enjoyable. It’s those personal touches and genuine connections that make this place feel like more than just a hotel. Thank you for another great stay. We’ll definitely continue to come back!

We received a warm welcome and truly appreciated the thoughtful touches that made our stay special. The hotel is located in a beautiful historic town, which is well worth exploring. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and inviting. Unfortunately, I didn't have the opportunity to have dinner at the restaurant, but I definitely plan to return, as I’ve heard excellent reviews about it. We absolutely loved our stay and would highly recommend this hotel.
